Pairing, port, HTTP endpoint, developer-browser policy, agent overlay, activity log, appearance and the emergency stop.

Companion

Setting	Notes
Pairing token	Printed by browser_status while unpaired, or read from ~/.browspark/token. Stored only in this browser profile. Leaving the field empty on save keeps the stored token.
Bridge port	Where the companion listens on localhost. Change it when you run the companion with --port; the Overview setup snippets follow. Default 9223.
Connection	Live status with the connection age, or the last error, plus Connect / Disconnect.

Shows the HTTP endpoint with a copy button once paired:

Developer browser

Whether the agent may open a separate Chrome. Only when needed (default), Always, or Never. See Tool policy.

Agent overlay

Show the agent at work switch, on by default. Draws the soft cyan halo, moving cursor and Stop button on tabs while the agent drives them. See The agent overlay.

Privacy

Activity log switch. Off by default; see Activity.

Emergency stop

Detaches the debugger from every tab, clears the shared list, switches Share everything off and disconnects. Nothing is retried on resume. Resume reconnects; share tabs again afterwards.

Appearance

The sidebar’s theme control switches between system, light and dark. The choice is stored per browser profile. Every page has full light and dark palettes; screenshots in these docs show both.
